St. Georges Day

I think it's official date was the 23rd but on Sunday the district of, or well, actually it was 2 districts, so it was 2 districts from Greater London North joined together in a parade (if you can call a walk around the car park a parade) and a St. Georges Day celebration. This is with the Scouts, all this parade business.

I was there as i am now a Beaver leader, and i had 6 from our unit with me. Just me. No other adult scouter helping me, just me. Now, that's a bit of an achievement isn't it? 6 under 8's with only me to care for them, ensuring their welfare. We were present as a unit of just over 30 representatives and there were other adult scouters assisting with them but the Beavers were my responsibility. I felt quite proud when walking onto the parade ground with 6 waist high children to my right.

Is there no better term than,
"Beaver Leader"?

Is there a badge with that on?
If so, I'd love one if you could get it!
